Compassionate therapy for trauma and the LGBTQIA+ community in Missouri.

Bridge Cunningham, MS, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor and the founder of Bridging the Gap Counseling, LLC, based in Springfield, Missouri. They believe healing comes from being courageous enough to show up as your whole self, and that it can be hard to imagine letting yourself just be you.

As a queer and a-spec person living in the Midwest who has walked their own trauma-healing journey, Bridge brings a heart-level understanding to the work. Their entire goal is to offer a non-judgmental space where clients can explore the parts of themselves they find scary so they can heal and feel like their own best friend. For life.

Working together, Bridge and their clients dive into conversations and use methods like EMDR to challenge what the rest of the world has taught them to believe about themselves. They laugh together, cry together, and develop the skills to thrive. Your story matters. You should feel like it does, and Bridge can help you get there.
